Autumn Planted Garlic

We have had some success with Carcassonne Wight.  Like you, we did not do so well with garlic this last summer, but the autumn planted Carcassonne was still better than the spring planted Solent Wight.  Other years, they have been similar in yield, but it seems 2016 was different!  Also, though some sources suggest that the autumn-planted hardnecks do not store as well as the softnecks, we have found the opposite to be true, so sticking with Carcassonne and Red Donetsk this autumn (plus the Elephant) and will still put some Solent in come the early spring.

Hi Dave,

Hi Dave,

How did the Carcassonne White and Red Donetsk do this yea?, Where is your source for the bulbs if they did well.

Thanks

Alex
