The Ecological Land Co-operative (ELC) share offer exceeds its target

ELC have raised £450,151 from its share offer, 30% over target.

The fact that the share offer has been so successful means that ELC staff will be able to focus all their attention on locating 2 further sites for smallholding development in addition to Greenham Reach in Devon and Arlington in East Sussex. Greenham Reach has three thriving smallholdings that are developing a wide range of land-based enterprises. A planning application for the Arlington site is being considered by the local council.

"On 12th June 2017 our share offer closed having raised a total investment of £450,151 in ten weeks. Thank you to everyone who has invested. Based on the success of our first cluster of small farms at Greenham Reach, Devon, with this investment we plan to create a series of new ecological smallholdings between now and 2020.
